Hello and welcome to our Winter edition of the Auctioneers Arms community newsletter. Thanks to the continued support from our members, customers, staff and volunteers our community pub continues to grow from strength to strength.
WE DID IT! – It’s hard to believe that it’s 12 months since we re-opened the Auctioneers Arms as a Community Owned pub on 19th May 2018
The roles of the new management committee have now been agreed following the first AGM on 13th February 2019 and will take affect from 1st April 2019

Caverswall Community Societies first AGM will take place on Wednesday 13th February 2019 at 19:30hrs. The venue is yet to be confirmed. The meeting is for shareholders only.
Caverswall Community Society will be holding their first AGM on Wednesday 13th February 2019 at 19:30pm.
Caverswall Community Society Ltd received financial support from a number of funding streams to buy the Auctioneers Arms and re-open it on May 19th 2018 as a Community owned venture.

All members of the original Steering Group met to discuss the disbanding of the group in June 2018 and each member was provided with a written proposal (via email) of the new management committee and all three founder members were given the opportunity to vote.
